As I know many people have the same problem, I have made a copy of SAFlashPlayer available. This is a program released by Adobe which will play swf files from places like Newgrounds, Flash Portal, etc.. You can actually obtain this file from Adobe's website, but it is a bitch to find, and is only available with the Flex 2 SDK as part of a zip archive which is close to 28 MB in size (not nice for dialup users). For this reason, I have mirrored the file on my website. Disclaimer: I do not claim to have created SAFlashPlayer, or any other related program(s). These programs are copyrighted material protected by the copyright owners (Adobe Corporation). Note: I am working on sourcing a copy of the new StandAlone Flash Player 10.
